Gallery > Earth is Old

With these paintings, I revisit the theme of Earth’s 4.5-billion-years of life and death. Thirty years later I’m still me, and encaustic paint is still my medium, but abstraction and climate change have given me new ways to think about ‘deep time’, new ways to express both the wonder of life and the poignant issues of our time.

This series of paintings will be shown at the Saint John Arts Centre in the spring of 2025.
